Louise Edkins

Financial Adviser

Louise started her career as a money market dealer at Macquarie Bank in 1984, before becoming a Client Adviser and a Securities Risk Reporting Analyst in other organisations.

Louise felt there was more to life than “greed is good” and has advised clients solely on ethical investment since 1994.

Interests: Pilates, travel and swimming as well as her other full time job – 2 energetic sons.

Luke Price

Financial Adviser

Luke Price is a Financial Adviser with over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his advisory journey in 2011, following several years in diverse supporting roles that laid the foundation for his expertise.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance, a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning), and has also completed the Accredited Aged Care Professional program. 

With a particular focus on aged care advice, Luke is passionate about helping older Australians and their families navigate the often overwhelming financial and emotional challenges that come with this stage of life. 

Supporting clients during these stressful times gives Luke a deep sense of purpose, and he finds immense satisfaction in making a positive difference in their lives.

In addition to aged care, Luke specialises in retirement planning, superannuation, investment research, and portfolio construction. His expertise is further enhanced by his active roles on the Investment Committee of Ethical Investment Funds Management and as a member of the Ethical Advisers’ Co-Operative, reflecting his strong commitment to ethical and responsible investing.

Outside of work, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife and four young daughters, as well as some time on the golf course.

Ross Little

Financial Adviser

Ross Little has been in the financial advice industry since 2004, having held a variety of roles in Financial Advice, Strategy, Operations, Advice Design & Delivery and State Manager. He has returned to providing personal advice to clients to combine his experience in financial advice with his passion for sustainability.

Stephanie Dewberry

Steph has over ten years financial services experience, with a broad knowledge and skill set including paraplanning, compliance, technical services and finance.

Steph has a passion for economics and finance. Due to this interest she has spent many years studying and expanding her understanding of these fields. Sarah Wood

Financial Adviser

Sarah has over 18 years experience in the Financial Services Industry and has specialised in responsible investment advice since 2012. Sarah was trained by former United States Vice President Al Gore as a “Climate Reality Leader” in Melbourne in 2014 and acted as a mentor to new trainees at the Brisbane training in 2019.

Sarah assisted the Coffs Harbour City Council to develop a Responsible Investment approach to their finances, including a successful divestment motion in 2017. Sarah was formerly the West Australian Genxt Co Chair for the Association of Financial Advisers, is a Certified Responsible Investment Adviser through the Responsible Investment Association Australasia and is registered with the Tax Practitioners Board.

James Baird

Director

Financial Adviser

James is passionate about investing ethically and helping clients achieve their goals through the financial planning advice process.

He has been in the Financial Planning industry since 2000 having worked for Professional Investment Services in Perth before heading to the UK from 2003 until 2005. In the UK he worked for CoreRatings, an Ethical Ratings agency which assessed material impacts of ESG issues on a range of large companies.

James is qualified to offer advice on SMSF’s and is also a GESB (West State and Gold State) specialist.

James was named in the ‘FS Power50’ 2019 – a list of the 50 Most Influential Advisers in Australia, and was a finalist in the ifa Excellence Awards four years in a row, from 2020-2023.

From 2015-2022 James ran the annual ‘Janubeard’ event, which raised funds for childhood cancer research. Janubeard is a 100% voluntary pro bono organisation.

Chris Lang

Chris is a customer focused adviser who grew up exploring Tasmania’s outdoors, discovering for himself the importance and beauty of our wilderness areas. Tom Robertson

As an adviser Tom deeply values his relationship with his clients, and finds great satisfaction in helping them achieve their life goals. Tom is a self confessed nerd, and enjoys numbers and spreadsheets and continually learning and expanding his knowledge through study. Tom has undertaken years of education to ensure he has a level of technical knowledge that goes above and beyond for his clients.

Outside of work Tom spends time with his family, including his two young sons, and enjoys spending time at the beach with them every chance he gets. He also deeply believes in a sustainable investment model that will allow for our environment to be preserved for future generations and families.

In 2019 Tom was named as an AFA top 10 finalist for Rising Star of the Year.

Stuart Barry

Financial Adviser

Uniquely for a financial adviser, Stuart has actual hands-on experience in the complexities of the global financial markets, having worked for 27 years for organisations such as ING, Westpac and Queensland Treasury Corporation.

He enjoys using this unparalleled depth of knowledge and experience to enable his clients to profit from his expertise, accessing smart investment choices.

Stuart is President of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy, Treasurer for the South Hobart Sustainable Community, Board member for Tas Tex and also a Commissioner on the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission.

He is also the author of ‘The Rich Greenie’ published in 2017

Interests: Stuart enjoys his daily cycle commute, being out in Tassie’s natural environment and spending time with his family including four young children.

Terry Pinnell

Terry was a financial planner from 1989 until 2021 when he retired from advising. He still remains a major shareholder and joint director of Ethical investment Adviser Pty Ltd.
